From the murky depths of Sydney’s inner city, four young men have decided to drop their latte glasses and embark on a journey. A journey to see past the world we think we live in.
As a great cowboy once said “I wish I knew more about these lesser known attractions, if only there was a website to show me a new side of Australia. Now where did I tie up that horse?” We can’t help him with the horse, but we can show him a thing or two about the side of the Great Southern Land that you never knew existed.
So saddle up and hold on tight. The Urban Cowboys are ridin’ into town!

Kunal
This cowboy honed his honky tonk skills whilst maintaining the appearance of an Indian, no mean feat having grown up in the depths of the Bangalorian jungle.
Having learnt the ways of the Indian has only added to his cowboys prowess, graduating from the school of life with a double degree in scumbaggery and girdle tying, he was welcomed into the Urban Cowboys with open saddles. Passing the initiation of a ritual lassooing has not only given him great knowledge of ropes but has also made him more ropable.

Gilly
This sneaky cowboy is able to slot into any situation and can only be described as an enigma of a man. Many have accused him of being a turban myth, but his tallness and thieving fingers mean that his presence is always felt. Such are his cowboy skills that he was chased out of his Northern NSW hometown for growing a banana bigger than the actual Big Banana itself. But he has found his home in the long rolling hills of Surry, making personally branded biodegradable spittoon buckets.
Mikey
The bespectacled crusader, known for his superior dancing skills and lackluster wrist strength first saw his calling to become a cowboy when a tumbleweed blew across his path after he delivered one of his many jokes. From then on nothing would satisfy his agricultural urges. When this corporate cowboy is not delivering a seminar on the joys of hay branding, you’ll find him on his ranch indulging in his two passions, porching and wheat chewin.’

Ed
From the mean streets of country Victoria, this cowboy learnt the dark side of cowboying from a very early age. Spending many of his years on the wrong side of the tracks has only aided his guerllia style of interviewing. Whilst having the appearance of someone who rounds numbers, he is more at home rounding up cattle and polishing his guns, whilst angrily muttering to himself.
